EOTO Com Tech Timeline - Hulu

Introduction

Including original shows, documentaries, and movie. Hulu is an American streaming service that offers a wide selection of live and on-demand tv shows. Some people depending on who you are prefer watching Hulu vs. Prime Video or Netflix and others prefer the opposite. Just like some people have a preference weather they like Spotify better or Apple music. 

Creator of Hulu 

The app Hulu was first founded in the year of 2007 by a man named Jason Kilar. It started off a small idea until The Walt Disney company and Providence Equity partners decided to eventually join Hulu, which then was originally a partnership between News Corporation and NBC Universal. Hulu became an actual service that was launched to the public in March 2008. Jason Kilar mentioned somewhere that it was his luck and confidence that had gotten him to the spot he was in when Hulu went viral. They were both very major factors in his achievement.  

Hulus Content Contains

Hulu contains of multiple things however it consists of four major things which include Network TV / original series, Live TV, Disney +, and ESPN. The Network TV / original series provides specific content from significant broadcast such as networks like Fox News, CNN, and ABC. It was the day after that they had aired on network and then right after had their Hulu premiere. The next one is Live TV, and it has over over 95 live tv channels including news, entertainment, and sports are all available to Hulu and live tv users. Lastly, is both Disney + and ESPN, this is plus because both Hulu and live tv members that are apart of the standard plan gain full access to ESPN and Disney +. 

How Did Hulu Have an Impact on The World

There were quite a few different reasons Hulu had an impact on the world. For example it inspired people to other streaming services to adjust to the age of technology or to try something new. Another example would be because the livestream itself covers more US military stations globally and keeps customers and audience entertained and interested which helps Hulu make more money. It overall has made a big impact throughout all over the world because more networks began to provide in conjunction.
